My appreciation for the military/veteran community lives through membership in the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, St. Louis Kaufman Fund, the Patriot Guard and other patriotic organizations.
My name, Pappabear, was given to me by a friend of my daughter's over 20 years ago. I introduce myself as Pappabear, it's my networking and my motorcycle name. As a matter of fact, anyone who knows me, knows my moniker.
As for my family, I've been married to my talented, brilliant wife since 1984, have 2 great children and 3 wonderful grandchildren. Our housing needs and decisions have changed with the times. Fun fact, in the 80's, the least expensive way to make a call from Germany to the US during the Holiday season was a shortwave radio network called MARS(you may need to ask your grandparents what short wave radio is, LOL)
Pappabear's family has lived in apartments, duplexes, mobile homes and ranch homes, giving us a wide range of experience and appreciation for different communities and conditions.
